Ngā Āheinga Kura Whānui | Schoolwide Opportunities 

Schoolwide opportunities bring uri from Akomanga Teina and Akomanga Tuakana together to learn, contribute, lead and participate as one kura whānau.

These shared experiences provide opportunities for tuakana and teina to learn alongside one another, take on different responsibilities and recognise the strengths each person brings to the kura.

Learning may involve whole-kura projects, community events, leadership, cultural experiences and opportunities to work alongside whānau, hapū, iwi and people within our wider community.

Through learning together, uri strengthen whanaungatanga, confidence, belonging and their connection to Te Kura o Waihārara. They learn that their ideas, actions and contributions can make a difference to their kura, their people and the places they belong to.
